sickness is a first. so is this blog

So I'm a blogger.

Well this is a first for me. I'm usually the type who is more a fan of face to face conversation but i guess it is really now a time to start blogging for good times sake, or even just for fun. Maybe its even better to just get my feelings on life out there in a blog rather than keeping them to myself. That's the most natural way to do things. keeping things inside is corrosive.

But then again, I'm not writing this as a doom and gloom blog just a blog about life. That's what bloggings all about isn't it?

OK well I've finished the introduction now.

So whats been happening? well, I have been sick the last few days and have been home from school since Wednesday and bed ridden till Friday, so not the most exciting couple of days, but still enjoyable, i watched a fair amount of movies,
  • Flicka (horse riding movie i watched with my sister, who was sick too)
  • The Holiday
  • Spiderman I (now that I'm better i really want to go see the new one in cinemas, I'm a bit of an action /comic book movie buff)
  • 300 - THIS IS SPARTA!!!
  • The Lake House (feel asleep- I'm sure its mediocre though)
I woke up Wednesday morning feeling really crappy, mind you Tuesday wasn't that great either, was at school with a headache and a sore throat, but i got home on Tuesday night and felt crap so went to bed early but woke up at 3am and couldn't return to sleep. I must have had a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius, i was hallucinating and was weak as and sweating like i was in the middle of a marathon. Crazy shit. So I went to the doctor and she diagnosed me with a throat infection so I'm on penicillin. But I'm getting better already, I had this deep fear I may have had glandular fever which could have been the worst news ever, especially in my final year of school.

So its the weekend now and I'm catching up on missed work and going on coldplaying and arcadian. The work is good when its English; the chemistry I'm not quite as looking forward to.

But theres music, which is a saviour. I'm really into instrumental post rock lately, so stuff like Explosions In The Sky, Sigur Rós, Godspeed You! Black Emperor and The Album Leaf are getting a fair ammount of iTunes airtime, along with my staples of Mew, Maximo Park, Death Cab and other stuff. By the way my music lists can be found on last.fm; well not music lists specifically but the music i like. Check It ---> www.last.fm/user/joshhunt

Good Stuff. Well the hum of English work calls me and a Religion essay niggles me like a 3 year old child asking "are we there yet?"

So I'm off. I'll try and keep this updated as often as I can. Its probably going to be fairly often considering when you are taking on the world and winning, there is a fair am mount of matter on which to talk about. I'm thinking of making the blogs thematic in the sense that I'll examine themes that flow throughout life and just elaborate on them. maybe not so often, this isn't Pulitzer material, but the odd thematic blog I think would fit well.

Next Blog will have some photography. I promise.

peace. love.
